Goblin Squad

The Goblin King has ordered you to take a cart to the Ancient Dwarf Ruins and bring back as much Heavy Metal Rock as it can carry. Better get to it before he gets angry!

Goblin Squad is a comedic roleplaying game and scenario in an 8 page zine. It's based on Roll for Shoes, and is perfect for a couple hours of play with two or more players and one Goblin Moderator.

The goblins start the game standing outside the gates of Gobburg, having been tasked with traveling to some nearby dwarven ruins to retrieve ore for the Goblin King. They have a rickety pushcart to carry the ore.

Over the course of the game, they will travel to the dwarven ruins, explore them, get in over their heads, and then maybe return home to Gobburg. Or maybe they’ll decide that Gobburg is for losers, and they’d rather strike off on their own. Nobody ever said that goblins are reliable.

What can the goblins get up to? Here are examples from actual play sessions:

• Befriend a kindly moleman.
• Slap someone so hard that a ghost pops out.
• Feed a vampire to an evil furnace.
• Do the same with a party of greedy adventurers.
• Tie a sleeping ogre to his bed, then rob him.
• Sneeze cut gemstones.
  
• Found a new Goblin kingdom.
